The test results undergone by the two Turkish actresses, “İzgi Ayouboglu” and “Melissa Dongel”, showed traces of prohibited substances in their bodies, causing shock among their fans.

The two actresses, who played leading roles in many well-known television works, were subjected to investigations and testing as part of a comprehensive security campaign targeting celebrities in the arts and media last month.

The new results, issued after analyzing samples from 18 suspected individuals, revealed that four of them tested positive, including “İzgi” and “Melissa”.

The two actresses are scheduled to face charges related to purchasing and using prohibited substances, punishable under Turkish law by imprisonment from two to five years, with additional penalties if the offense occurred near public areas, educational or sports facilities, hospitals, or places of worship.

The public prosecutor has the right to postpone filing a case against the accused if they commit to participating in a designated rehabilitation program for one year, with the possibility of erasing their criminal record upon fulfilling the program requirements.

Actress “İzgi”, 38 years old, has appeared in several series, including “Her Name is Happiness”, “The Organization”, and “The Secret Garden”, in addition to works in cinema and theater.

Actress “Melissa”, 27 years old, has appeared in series such as “Love, Logic, Revenge” and “Holding Company”.

Similar campaigns since October have targeted a large number of celebrities and have proven the use of prohibited substances by some media figures, artists, and social media influencers. Among the most prominent currently detained in these cases is the television presenter “Ela Romisa Gepegi”, who admitted to using substances to benefit from a reduced sentence.
