A 13-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the death of a woman in Swindon, UK.

Emergency services were called to a house on Baydon Close in Moredon following reports of a “disturbance” inside the home.

Upon arrival, police found a woman in her 50s not breathing.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Despite the best efforts of emergency services, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”

An investigation into the death has been launched and a cordon was set up while detectives searched the property.

Police confirmed that the death is being treated as a “suspected murder,” with the 13-year-old girl as the sole suspect.

A police spokesperson added: “A 13-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of killing a woman on Baydon Close in Moredon last night.
