Mai reassured her fans about her health through Instagram Stories, thanking the surgeon Dr. Hossam Ghoneim and the anesthesiologist for their care and attention from the moment she entered the hospital. She said: "The surgery was not easy, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Alhamdulillah, and thank you Dr. Hossam Ghoneim for your care and follow-up from the moment I entered the hospital."

This statement follows a post by her husband Ahmed Taimour, who reassured followers about her condition, confirming her discharge from the hospital and continuation of treatment at home. He wrote: "Mai has left the hospital, Alhamdulillah, and will continue treatment at home. A thousand thanks for all the prayers and everyone who checked on her and stood by us."
