Ghada Abdel Razek Plans Legal Action Against Spreaders of False Information Ghada Abdel Razek: “We urge that no news involving the actress be published without conclusive evidence”

Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek has announced that she has appointed legal advisor Yasser Kantoush, a cassation lawyer, to take the necessary legal action against anyone who has published false information about her—whether inside Egypt or abroad, particularly in France—without relying on any official legal documents.

In an official statement published via her verified Instagram account, Abdel Razek urged all respected journalists to verify the accuracy of any news shared, especially those lacking factual basis or judicial rulings. She described such claims as baseless fabrications made by individuals seeking fame at the expense of tarnishing her public image.

The statement stressed that the actress will not tolerate the continued circulation of such false reports, warning: “We ask that no news involving the actress be published without solid evidence. Otherwise, we will be forced to take all necessary legal measures against those who publish or circulate any such claims.”

French Company Statement and Legal Action The controversy began when a French company issued an official press release announcing that it had initiated legal proceedings against Ghada Abdel Razek and her daughter. The company accused them of failing to pay outstanding fees for services provided during their visit to Paris. The statement also noted that all attempts at an amicable settlement had failed.

Her Latest Work On the artistic front, Ghada Abdel Razek starred in the recent Ramadan TV season with the series Shabab Emraa (“Young Woman”), a modern adaptation of the classic film originally performed by the late legend Taheya Karioka decades ago.

The show featured a stellar cast, including Youssef Omar, Amr Wahba, Tarek Al-Nahry, and Mohamed Mahmoud, and received praise from both critics and audiences alike—marking a significant milestone in Abdel Razek’s career.
