Lebanese singer Diana Haddad denied recent rumors about her retirement from music and wearing the hijab following her visit to the Holy Kaaba.

During a press conference for the 20th edition of the Mawazine Festival in Morocco, Diana Haddad confirmed that the circulating news on social media about her retirement and hijab-wearing are false.

She said: "They said I retired and wore the hijab because of my visit to the Holy Kaaba, but if I had retired, there would definitely be an official statement. I’m still here even after visiting the Holy Kaaba, and who knows, people’s lives can change."

"Still present"She emphasized that she remains active in the artistic scene and has not considered retirement despite her sacred visit.

Speaking about current artistic developments, Diana highlighted her efforts to keep up with the artistic wave in the region while stressing the importance of preserving authentic art.

She added: "We try to keep pace with the artistic wave, but we can’t go too deep because people know me as a singer. It’s not wrong to present a respectful and tasteful performance because that’s the fine line separating refined art from superficial art."

Artistic activityRecently, Diana Haddad released her new song "Al Nas Al Helwa" ("The Sweet People") on YouTube and social media platforms, which achieved great success. The song’s lyrics are by Mahmoud Farouk, composed by Madian, mixed and mastered by Hosni Abu Zahra, and musically arranged by Hatem Mansour.

She is also preparing to release a series of singles in the near future, confirming her continued commitment to producing new and diverse artistic works.
