The Red Sea Fund has unveiled the list of projects selected in the first round of its 2025 post-production grants, reaffirming its commitment to supporting filmmakers from the Arab world and Asia.

This round awarded nine diverse projects from countries including Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan, alongside European co-productions from France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

The fund’s goal is to empower independent filmmakers in completing their final production phases and to help them realize their artistic vision while expanding the reach of their stories to global audiences.

Among the selected titles are Promised Sky, Fuxi: Joy in Four Chapters, Mother Bhumi, Ghost School, Round 13, PANGKU, VEHA, The Barons, and A Winner Is Seen at the Start—films that span a range of genres, cultural reflections, and deeply human narratives.

According to the fund's director, this selection embodies a broader strategy to amplify bold, original voices and champion authentic storytelling from emerging filmmakers. He emphasized the fund’s commitment to fostering a creative ecosystem where high-quality content thrives and finds its place on international platforms.

The Red Sea Fund continues to solidify its role as a key incubator for cinematic innovation in the Arab region and Asia, having previously supported hundreds of projects that went on to receive international acclaim.
