Postponement of Mahmoud El Esseily’s Concert in Jordan

The concert of Egyptian artist Mahmoud El Esseily, which was scheduled to take place on Friday evening in the capital Amman, was canceled according to the Friends of Jordan Festivals Association, which stated that the concert has been postponed to a date to be determined later.
The postponement decision came due to El Esseily’s inability to travel to Jordan because of the tense political situation, which led to the closure of Jordanian airspace to air traffic, preventing the completion of the flight and arrival on the scheduled date.
The concert was supposed to be held as part of the Jordan Festivals activities at the Citadel Square in downtown Amman, with wide public participation, as tickets sold out early due to high demand from the artist’s fans.
Successful concert in New Alamein
In a related context, El Esseily recently performed a successful concert in the city of New Alamein, Egypt, on June 8, as part of the Eid al-Adha season concerts. The event saw a large turnout at Porto Marina Golf, where the venue was filled hours before the musical segment began, amid a joyful artistic atmosphere.
El Esseily presented a collection of his most famous songs, blending his old and new works, including “Ewa,” “Enta Estithnai,” “Ya Nas,” “Habibi w Ibn Habibi,” and “Tool Ma Enti Ganbi.” He also made sure to perform the song “Kol Sana Wenta Albi” live on stage, dedicating it to everyone celebrating birthdays or special occasions, in a gesture that was well-received by the audience and added a warm, intimate touch to the evening.
