In an ongoing review of the beekeeping and honey production sector in Jordan, which includes approximately 4,000 beekeepers who contribute to meeting approximately 25% of the local market"s demand of 125 tons annually, the magnitude of the challenges facing these producers, who are considered an important safety valve for the country"s food and health, has once again become apparent.
