Min Hunna Nabda - Residents of Al-Naseem villages: The state property and forestry crisis deprives us of basic services.

Residents of the villages of Al-Mushairifa, Qafqafa, Balila, and Kafr Khal in the Jerash Governorate complained to the "From Here We Begin" program about the continued lack of electricity and water services in their homes. This is due to the stalled land regularization process for the lands on which their homes are built, which are classified as forest lands and state-owned properties.

According to residents, some of these lands were regularized in 1993 and 2008 in exchange for payment of equivalent value and the issuance of official title deeds. However, the regularization process stopped in 2009, resulting in the complete absence of basic services to their homes.

Guests on the program:

Musa Al-Harahsha - Affected Resident

Eng. Omar Ayasrah - Director of Planning at Al-Naseem Municipality

Dr. Talal Al-Zaben - Media Spokesperson for the Department of Lands and Survey
