The Public Security Directorate confirmed the death of a teenager in Shoubak District after being accidentally shot while at a farm, stressing that the incident was not the result of any quarrel, contrary to circulating rumors.

According to the spokesperson, initial investigations revealed that another teenager at the scene was playing with a firearm, which accidentally discharged and struck the victim, leading to their death.

Security forces were able to apprehend the other teenager and seize the weapon. The case will now be referred to the judiciary to follow up with legal procedures.

The spokesperson emphasized that all reports suggesting a fight or altercation caused the teen’s death are false and baseless.
