The selling price of 21-carat gold in jewelry stores on Tuesday stood at 99.4 dinars, compared to 94.7 dinars for purchase, according to the General Syndicate of Jewelry and Goldsmiths.
The price per gram for other gold carats was recorded as follows:
- 24-carat: 114 dinars
- 18-carat: 88.5 dinars
- 14-carat: 69.2 dinars
Economists attribute the current fluctuations in gold prices to multiple factors, notably global market changes, the dollar exchange rate, and international economic tensions.
