Dalia El Behiry: "Thank God for everything" Dalia El Behiry: "Pray for me to get better, because I’m completely exhausted"

Egyptian actress Dalia El Behiry was involved in a car accident during her current summer and shared the details by posting a photo from the scene on her personal Instagram account, confirming that she miraculously survived.

Dalia explained to her followers that her summer had been full of health pressures, saying: "Thank God for everything… For the past three weeks, I was very sick and my immunity dropped. My husband also suffered a severe illness that required a hospital visit, and we spent several hours there in an extremely cold room."

She continued: "I was moving from house to house, which was unexpected and stressful… My immunity collapsed, and I was very ill for three weeks! I caught a cold, or maybe COVID, or whatever you want to call it. As I started feeling slightly better, my husband fell seriously ill! Worse than me, to the point that we had to go to the hospital! We spent 4 hours there in what felt like a deep freezer—so cold that we were hurting from the chill."

Dalia added: "We returned home, and less than an hour later, my fever came back. Since then, I haven’t fully recovered. I completed the summer season while driving back from the coast, exhausted, because I had an important commitment in Cairo, and my car tire burst and smoked! Thank God it happened near the gates and I wasn’t driving fast—what a blessing."

She concluded: "In short, it was a very challenging summer, but I will always love summer… Please pray for me to get better, as I’m completely drained. By the way, I usually don’t post such updates, and I also want to thank the traffic officers—they were heroic and helped me fix the spare tire. Yes, they wanted to get me moving quickly because the minister’s convoy was passing, but still, they were very kind."

Resuming Filming for “Bidoon Muqabil”

On the professional front, Dalia is preparing to resume filming the TV series Bidoon Muqabil, which was put on hold last year, with only one week remaining to complete the final scenes. The series is a social-tragic drama focusing on the heroic deeds of security personnel and features stars such as Hany Ramzy, Amr Abdel Gelil, Wafaa Amer, Nesreen Tafesh, and Heba Abdel Aziz, directed by Gamal Abdel Hamid and written by Hossam Mousa.

Dalia’s Role in the Series

Dalia plays the character of Ashgan, a simple widow from Alexandria who works as a social worker. She must travel to Cairo to treat her sick son and encounters a series of challenging situations while meeting various characters, which adds suspense and drama to the storyline.
