Sadness blankets the Egyptian artistic community following the death of Amr Sami

Young theater director Amr Sami Abdel Nabi passed away in the early hours of Monday morning, causing a wave of sadness throughout the artistic community.
The news was announced by actor Sherif Idris, a close friend of the late director, on his personal Facebook account, where he paid tribute with heartfelt words that deeply moved his colleagues.
Idris also shared a post by actress Enas El Sherif, who wrote: "Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return. Amr Sami Abdel Nabi has passed away… Is that it, Amr?"
With sorrow, Idris added: "There were still so many stories and things we never talked about… 20 years of my life passed so quickly… May God have mercy on you, forgive you, grant you paradise, and give strength to your mother and loved ones. You had so many people who loved you, Amr. From the depth of my grief, I find no words… May God have mercy on you and help us endure your loss."
He further commented: "There is no god but Allah… Farewell, Amr… My friend, the actor and great theater director Amr Sami is now in God’s care… Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return."
