Egyptian actor esham Ismail was struck by grief following the passing of his mother after a battle with illness—a loss announced by fellow actor Hamza El Aily on his official Facebook page. The news sparked an outpouring of sorrow and sympathy across artistic circles and social media platforms.

El Aily mourned the late mother in a heartfelt message, writing:

"To God we belong… The mother of my brother and dear friend, actor Hesham Ismail, has passed away. May God have mercy on her and grant her paradise."

The funeral prayer was held after Asr prayer at Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, and the deceased was laid to rest in the family cemetery.

Several fellow actors extended their condolences, including Amr Abdel Aziz, who posted on Instagram:

"Indeed we belong to God, and to Him we shall return. The mother of our friend, actor Hesham Ismail, has passed away. May God forgive her and grant her eternal peace."
