The "From Here We Start" program received a complaint from a visually impaired student in the Tawjihi (High School) stage. The complaint included a persistent tardiness to school since the beginning of the school year. The reason for the tardiness is the Ministry of Education"s designated transportation mechanism for these students.
The Ministry of Education declined to comment on the issue live. The statement read: "The issue was previously raised, appropriate measures were taken, and solutions were reached."
To learn more about the issue and whether it has been resolved, a Roya correspondent monitored the bus route from the first moments of student assembly until the school run. The reporter monitored the tardiness and confirmed that it was a reality, lasting up to 9:05 a.m.
