Despite its tourist importance, the Jerash-Ajloun road still poses a daily danger to drivers due to dangerous intersections that have not been addressed for years.

The road, which sees heavy tourist traffic weekly, has completed the first phase of its expansion, while the second phase has stalled due to disagreements between the Jerash Governorate Council and the Public Works Directorate.

Citizens and tourists are demanding the paving of the road and the creation of a median to reduce accidents, warning of the continued absence of a median.
