Sharara Abu Zureiq makes his mark with Raja in the Moroccan League

Jordanian international Mohamed Abu Zureiq, known as Sharara, has made a strong impression with Moroccan side Raja Casablanca, delivering a standout performance in their 10th-round clash against Nahdat Zemamra in the Moroccan League.
He helped lead Raja to a deserved 3-0 victory, lifting the team to 19 points and third place in the standings, just behind joint leaders Maghreb de Fès and Wydad Casablanca, who both sit on 20 points.
Sharara was influential from the start, assisting the first goal in the 25th minute with a precise pass into the box, finished by Adam Al-Nafati, who later converted a penalty for the second goal. Ismail Khafi completed Raja’s 3-0 win with the final goal.
Shurara earns fans’ trust quickly
Starting the match in front of a packed stadium, Sharara received a warm welcome from Raja supporters, who were optimistic about his contributions. He impressed both fans and coaching staff with his fitness, technical skills, and clear ability to make a difference, quickly proving to be a valuable signing for the club.
Abu Zureiq joined Raja after terminating his contract with Al-Ramtha, seeking a new professional challenge that strengthens his competitive edge while keeping him in contention for the Jordan national team under Moroccan coach Jamal Al-Salmi.
Sharara, a right winger, is known for his speed, dribbling skills, chance creation, and accuracy in passing and shooting.
This is his fourth professional stint abroad, following spells with Al-Sailiya in Qatar, Ahli Tripoli in Libya, and Esperance in Tunisia, in addition to playing locally for Al-Ramtha, Al-Wehdat, and Al-Hussein Irbid.
