Egyptian singer Hany Shaker raised concern among his fans after he appeared on Saturday sitting on a chair while performing a concert in the United Arab Emirates, following a short absence from the artistic scene after undergoing a delicate spinal surgery.

During the concert, which he shared with Lebanese singer Wael Jassar, Hany Shaker appeared seated on the chair throughout his singing segments, in compliance with doctors’ instructions not to stand or exert any physical effort, a scene that sparked clear interaction across social media platforms.

The “Prince of Arabic Singing” was keen to document part of the concert moments through the “story” feature on his official Instagram account, delivering an emotional message in which he said: “Despite the difficult circumstances I’m going through, your presence with me is the most beautiful gift in the world that God has given me… May God never deprive me of you or of your love.” Messages of support and encouragement then poured in from his fans, in appreciation of his long artistic career and his special place in their hearts.
