Gold prices continue to dominate the scene in Jordan 100.5 dinars, Gold 21 carat
Gold prices remain at the forefront locally, although Saturday’s trading came differently, with a noticeable drop in prices, which exceeded the 100-dinar mark.
The Association of Jewelry and Gold Shops issued Saturday morning’s pricing, where the selling price of 21-carat gold reached 100.50 dinars, compared to 94.60 dinars for buying.
According to the bulletin issued by the General Association of Jewelry and Gold Shops, the price per gram of gold for 24, 18, and 14 carats for selling purposes reached 114.40, 88.90, and 69.60 dinars, respectively.
Prices witnessed a decline exceeding 10% for gold, while silver fell by about 15%, causing significant confusion in the markets and directly reflecting on local shop prices.
Jordanians are wondering whether gold prices will continue to fall or if today’s drop is just a "temporary spike"!
