The working hours of the Directorates of Education will start at 8:00 AM Double-shift schools will start the first class of the morning shift at 7:00 AM

The Ministry of Education circulated to its directorates the official working hours for schools, which will be implemented starting from the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, on Tuesday, 24/3/2026.

The Ministry’s spokesperson, Mahmoud Hayasat, explained on Monday in a statement received by Roya TV, that the working hours of the Directorates of Education will be from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Hayasat indicated that the first class in single-shift schools will start at 8:00 AM, with each class lasting 45 minutes.

Double-shift schools: As for double-shift schools, the first class in the morning shift will start at 7:00 AM, with each class lasting 40 minutes, while the first class in the afternoon shift will start at 12:30 PM.

The Ministry confirmed the necessity of adhering to these timings to ensure the smooth running of the educational process after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
