The Syrian artistic community was shocked on Wednesday by the news of the death of Syrian photographer Jihad Kurdi, a specialist in television drama, at the age of 36.

Kurdi’s sudden passing caused a deep sense of loss among colleagues and fans, who expressed profound sorrow at the death of one of the most prominent names in Syrian drama photography. Jihad Kurdi was considered one of the leading photographers of promotional posters for Syrian drama productions, known for his distinctive artistic touch and his ability to deliver striking and expressive visual imagery, making him one of the most creative photographers in recent years.

His final work was the promotional posters for the new drama series “Sa’adat Al-Majnoon”, set to air during the upcoming Ramadan, marking the last stop in his distinguished career.
