Important for everyone… New WhatsApp feature to prevent fraud

- One-click setup boosts security, prevents common mistakes
- Designed to assist users with limited tech experience
WhatsApp is currently testing a new security feature aimed at making account protection from hacking and fraud easier, through a unified setting that can be activated with a single click.
The latest beta version of the Android app refers to a feature called "Strict account settings," aimed at users who may be at risk of cyberattacks or phishing attempts.
Once activated, WhatsApp will automatically enhance account security by blocking files and calls from unknown numbers, restricting group invitations, hiding IP addresses during calls, enabling two-step verification, and alerting users if security codes change in encrypted chats.
The feature’s main benefit is that it reduces the chance of users forgetting essential security options or making mistakes.
It also helps less tech-savvy users who find navigating WhatsApp’s complex settings difficult.
The feature is still under development and has not yet reached beta testers, with further adjustments expected before its official release in a future update.
