The Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, His Excellency Yousef Al-Issawi, inaugurated the eco-lodge in the Yarmouk Nature Reserve in the Umm Qais area today, coinciding with His Majesty King Abdullah II"s visit to Irbid Governorate.
The project is part of the Royal initiatives to support ecotourism and promote sustainable development. It includes a hotel, chalets, and integrated service facilities, and provides approximately 50 job opportunities for members of the local community.
The lodge is a valuable addition to the tourism product in northern Jordan and reflects the government"s commitment to investing in natural sites and linking environmental protection with economic development.
