Min Hunna Nabda - More than 400 acres of guava land have dried up in Al-Haydan.

The lack of irrigation water for tree crops has led to the drying up of more than 400 dunums planted with guava trees, affecting about 16,000 trees. This is the worst challenge facing dozens of farmers in Wadi Al-Haidan, affiliated with the Dhiban District in Madaba Governorate, which is a habitat for guava cultivation. Its cultivation was actually introduced to the Wadi Al-Haidan area about six years ago and spread like wildfire due to the region’s suitability for its cultivation and its economic feasibility, which prompted dozens of citizens to invest in guava cultivation, with the cultivated areas estimated at more than two thousand dunums.
