Min Hunna Nabda - Overcrowding in parking spaces raises discontent among residents and merchants.

Our program has received comments and complaints from citizens regarding a severe shortage of parking spaces in the Abu Nuseir area, north of Amman. This causes daily traffic jams and random parking in front of homes and shops.

Residents confirm that the lack of urban planning, coupled with the behavior of some citizens who divert parking spaces to garages or other uses in an attempt to circumvent licensing, has contributed to the exacerbation of the problem, especially in crowded neighborhoods.

Despite repeated complaints, no projects have yet been implemented to address the crisis, not even in parking spaces designated for institutions and public places.

Citizens are calling on the Greater Amman Municipality to find practical and scientific solutions, such as creating vertical parking spaces, imposing stricter controls, activating monitoring and violation systems, and improving public transportation options to reduce reliance on private vehicles.
