A state of anxiety prevails among residents of a residential building in the Tabarbour area of the capital, Amman, after clear cracks and fissures appeared in the walls and columns, raising fears of a possible collapse of the building, which contains 16 apartments inhabited by residents, including children and the elderly. A number of residents of the building confirmed that they had submitted several complaints to the relevant authorities, demanding an urgent technical inspection of the building.
