Min Hunna Nabda - Public Works to pave the Negev Road in a third of the tender period

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has completed the project to add a new asphalt surface layer to the Desert Highway, starting from Ras al-Naqab to Daba Hanut, for the route departing from Aqaba to Amman, within "one-third" of the scheduled tender period.

The project aims to improve the road"s capacity to withstand axle loads in accordance with international specifications. The project is part of a series of periodic maintenance projects implemented by the Ministry on the Kingdom"s main road network in general and on the Desert Highway in particular.
