The sit-in scene has resurfaced in the city of Ma"an, where a number of unemployed youth staged an open-ended sit-in in front of the Greater Ma"an Municipality building, demanding real job opportunities that preserve their dignity and provide them with a decent living.
The participants held up signs reading, "Dignity comes before employment" and "We are the youth of Ma"an. We are not a burden, but rather an energy waiting to be unleashed."
