Two weeks ago, the Jordanian Council of Ministers issued important economic decisions aimed at alleviating the financial burdens on citizens and revitalizing the automotive sector by reducing customs duties on imported cars, scooters, and bicycles.
The decision at the time set customs duties on electric cars at a uniform rate of 27% for all categories, regardless of their value.
