Libyan Mabkabka with Meat
Ingredients
500 grams of diced meat (preferably lean lamb or beef)
1/4 cup olive oil and 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 large chopped onion
2 tablespoons tomato paste
4 fresh tomatoes, grated or blended
3 hot peppers
1 sweet bell pepper
500g package of pasta
Hot water (as needed)
1 teaspoon red hot pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon turmeric
Salt and black pepper to taste
