Min Hunna Nabda - Water scarcity in Jarina al-Shawabkeh district

In the Jarinah district of Madaba Governorate, farmers and livestock breeders are suffering from a shortage of water allocated for agriculture, which they obtain from a private well that does not meet their needs due to the well’s productive capacity, which is not sufficient to irrigate more than 700 greenhouses and about 300 dunums of open-air crops, which are supplied to farmers by tanks in addition to lines using plastic pipes. This matter has become a threat to the drought of crops.
