Four months ago, the "From Here We Begin" program addressed the dangers of the Ma"an-Shoubak road due to its dilapidation and lack of public safety and security regulations.
The road is a vital developmental and tourist artery linking Ma"an to Shobak and connecting Wadi Musa to Petra.
Today, the Ministry of Public Works, in cooperation with the Ma"an Governorate Council, is responding to the situation, beginning the first phase and awaiting further phases.
