Irbid Municipality"s work on the reconstruction of the Al-Jawra market in the city center is still progressing slowly. Two years after its demolition, and with close follow-up from the "From Here We Start" program, a tender has been issued to begin excavation work.
It is noteworthy that the municipality removed the market following reports warning against using it due to its antiquity and to avoid a disaster. This move is intended to pave the way for the reconstruction of the market, which was a vital commercial cornerstone in the area and caused a significant increase in the number of visitors.
