Citizens in Karak Governorate have complained about the weak tourism movement in the city over the years, despite the old city possessing hundreds of heritage houses that have been abandoned and their residents moved to other areas. Following His Majesty the King"s visit to Karak six months ago, His Majesty directed the need to invest in heritage houses, restore them, and revive their heritage so that the city can return to the tourist scene.
