Min Hunna Nabda - South Amman purification plant, environmental risks and multiple references

In this section of the From Here We Start program, at first glance you think it is a beautiful natural scene, but in reality it is partially refined water. It is a purification station in southern Amman located in the Nasiriyah area of ​​the Giza District for wastewater treatment.

The station was considered by residents to pose an environmental risk that is not limited only to the Nasiriyah area, but extends to the neighboring areas due to the intensity of the unpleasant smell. Citizens confirmed that the unpleasant odors emanating from the purification station, which are located in the middle of populated areas, increased the cases of chest diseases they had, as they put it. Rather, their effect was prolonged. Land prices in the region, and livestock, as a result of the use of wastewater for fodder agriculture.
