Min Hunna Nabda - "Challenges of 'Cooperatives'… Limited Government Support and Lack of a Risk Fund"

In this segment of the "From Here We Begin" program, since the issuance of the first cooperative legislation in Jordan in 1952, which stemmed from the recommendations of the International Cooperative Alliance in the early 20th century, the cooperative sector has witnessed significant growth. Hundreds of Jordanians are engaged in this sector, which promotes and values cooperative work across various sectors in the kingdom. Since then, many associations have been established, achieving notable successes for their members and continuing to operate effectively. However, this extensive sector faces numerous challenges and changes that have impacted cooperative work in Jordan, leading to the dissolution of some associations for various reasons.
