Min Hunna Nabda - "Al-Hamimah - Wadi Al-Yatim: Fatal Accidents on a Dilapidated, Unlit Road"

"In this segment of the program "From Here We Begin," the road from Humaima to the Wadi Al-Yutm Customs Center, spanning 100 km, presents a dangerous route due to its deteriorating condition and lack of lighting. The lighting frequently malfunctions due to tampering with the main panels, increasing the road"s danger and leading to fatal accidents.

Despite efforts by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Aqaba Authority to maintain the lighting, the road continues to suffer from ongoing problems caused by attacks on lighting transformers and cable theft, leaving the road without electricity. This road, which is the only access to Aqaba for cars and trucks, requires urgent intervention from the responsible authorities to improve traffic safety and reduce accidents."
