In this segment of the program "From Here We Begin," Mecca Street and its surrounding areas have recently experienced a significant decline in traffic flow. This is due to the construction of a building in the middle of the street, which has narrowed its width and increased congestion. This situation has raised questions about the role of the Greater Amman Municipality in granting permits and the possibility of acquiring parts of the streets to widen them.
In the Seventh Circle area, drivers face significant challenges in getting around, as the only exit is a narrow passage leading to a commercial market. This adds to the daily struggles of residents who have to deal with constant traffic congestion. This situation is attributed to poor engineering design in some buildings and inadequate planning for street entrances and exits, forcing citizens to allocate extra time to their appointments to avoid the ongoing traffic crisis.
