Min Hunna Nabda - "Challenges Facing Fig Farmers in Wadi al-Sir"

In this segment of the "From Here We Start" program, we address the issue of water scarcity, the infestation of fig trees by nematodes, and the challenge of finding a market for the promotion and sale of figs. These are some of the major challenges faced by dozens of fig farmers in the West Wadi Al-Seer region at the beginning of each season.

This season, the challenges have been compounded by the nematode infestation, which is known for causing root knot disease in fig trees and is considered one of the most dangerous pests affecting fig trees.
