Egyptian director Magdy El-Hawary announced on his official Facebook account that he had suffered a serious shoulder injury, asking his fans and followers to pray for his speedy recovery.

In a brief post, El-Hawary wrote: “A torn shoulder tendon, praise be to God, whatever God wills, He does,” without revealing the details or causes of the injury.

A large number of his colleagues in the film industry reacted to the news, sending messages of support and wishing him a swift recovery, while his audience expressed sympathy and hoped for his quick return to artistic activity.

On the artistic side, El-Hawary had previously spoken about his new project “The Complete Story,” explaining that it aims to present a different drama experience that opens wide space for creative competition among actors and filmmakers, both in front of and behind the camera, enhancing the overall quality of the content presented to viewers.

He also noted that the project brings together writers and directors from different generations in a single competitive artistic framework, along with diverse production teams, considering it one of the most anticipated drama projects in the coming period due to its innovation and diversity.
