An Egyptian woman in her thirties lost her life after falling from the balcony of the marital apartment on the third floor in the Bulaq Al-Dakrour area in Giza, after her husband prevented her from leaving the home.

According to preliminary investigations, the incident began following a verbal dispute between the couple inside the apartment, which escalated into severe tension. This prompted the woman to attempt leaving through the door, but she moved toward the balcony in an attempt to escape, before falling from the third floor.

Severe injuries

Preliminary data indicates that security authorities received a report of a woman falling from a height inside the building. Immediately, a police force moved to the scene, supported by an ambulance team.

After examination, it was found that the woman had died as a result of severe injuries caused by the fall, while the body was transferred to the morgue under the disposal of the Public Prosecution.
