Social media platforms have been in an uproar over the past hours amid widespread public anger and frustration, following the circulation of a shocking family abuse incident in Lebanon, in which a father was subjected to beating and humiliation at the hands of his two sons. The case sparked a broad wave of reactions and calls for urgent intervention.

According to the account “Wenniyeh al-Dawleh,” the incident involves two brothers who repeatedly subjected their father to violence, including daily beatings, intimidation, and humiliation, in a scene described as shocking and inhumane.

In a recorded video, the father—who filed an official complaint with the police—confirmed that he is continuously abused by his sons. He stated that they sometimes lock him inside the bathroom after tying his feet and blindfolding him, leaving him in a constant state of fear.

The father explained that he was once forced to escape from them and seek refuge with neighbors before later going with them to the police station to file a formal complaint.

The news account also reported that the father had previously sent his daughter outside Lebanon, after she too suffered abuse from her brothers, amid ongoing suffering within the family.

Despite the complaint being submitted to the relevant authorities, the police have reportedly not taken any action against the accused brothers so far, which has further fueled public anger and demands for accountability.
