  • Legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

American actress Blake Lively believes that being labeled as a “mean girl” and a “bully” during her legal dispute with director Justin Baldoni has caused major financial and reputational damage estimated at more than $40 million, according to newly filed court documents reviewed by TMZ.

Lively is seeking total damages approaching $161 million from Baldoni’s company, including losses in current and future earnings, as well as harm to her businesses in the haircare and beverage sectors.

The actress claims that an expert she consulted identified more than 176 million online engagements and posts describing her as “a bully” and “heartless,” which — according to the estimates — resulted in reputational losses ranging between $36.5 million and $40.5 million.

On the other hand, Baldoni and his legal team reject these figures, calling them exaggerated. The trial between both parties is scheduled to begin on May 18 in New York, in a case that has drawn significant attention in Hollywood, particularly after most of Lively’s allegations related to her experience on the film It Ends With Us were recently dismissed.
