Death of Student Ibrahim Al-Darbani Amid Shock Among His Family and Loved Ones The late student left behind painful memories, and his father bid him farewell with emotional words.

Grief has overwhelmed the halls of Al-Ezz bin Abdul Salam School in the “Um Nuwwara” area east of the Jordanian capital, Amman, following the heartbreaking loss of student Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Darbani from the ninth grade. Silence filled the school that once echoed with his daily presence and voice.

On a morning unlike any other, his desk sat empty, as if silently narrating his absence. The books he used to carry remained on the table, as though waiting for his return, while his memory lingered in every corner of the place.

His classmates, who were used to his presence among them, stood in shock, unable to believe that their schoolmate had left without farewell. His smile was gone, and his small conversations that once filled the school day with warmth and simplicity had fallen silent.

Teachers showed deep sorrow as they recalled him inside the classroom—a calm and well-mannered student who left a positive impact on everyone who knew him, before suddenly passing away and leaving behind an irreplaceable void.

Amid shock and disbelief, and as of the time of writing, the cause of death has not been officially announced. The farewell scene became the center of this painful tragedy, as his dreams were buried with him and he departed life in silence and sorrow that is hard to overcome.

This sudden loss left painful questions in the hearts of classmates and teachers, who could not comprehend how quickly he was taken away, especially since he had been among them only days earlier, sharing their school life as usual.

In a deeply emotional moment, his father, Mohammed Al-Darbani, mourned his son Ibrahim, saying: “With hearts believing in Allah’s will and decree, I mourn the death of my son, my beloved, and the apple of my eye Ibrahim… To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him Paradise in his youth, wash him with water, snow, and hail, and cleanse him of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt.”

The school also mourned him through its official Facebook page, writing: “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Al-Ezz bin Abdul Salam School, represented by its administration, teachers, and students, mourns the student Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Darbani from the ninth grade. We ask Allah to grant him mercy and to give his family patience and solace.”
