Cardi B announced she was the victim of credit card fraud after thieves reportedly spent around $60,000 on designer clothes and Apple products, calling for a full investigation and jail time for those responsible.

Speaking during an Instagram live, the star said her card went missing two weeks ago, and the suspects used it to make a $40,000 purchase at Saks Fifth Avenue and an additional $20,000 at an Apple store before the card was frozen.

“Let me tell you, you’re going to jail by the end of the week,” Cardi B said, noting that she had obtained CCTV footage of four men using her card.

The Grammy-winning artist emphasized that she closely monitors her finances despite her reported net worth of over $88 million in 2024. “I don’t act like many rich people; I don’t play when it comes to my money,” she added.

She explained how she discovered the fraud, noting that her card is linked to her phone and she receives instant notifications for every transaction. Initially, she suspected a team member, but a second purchase 35 minutes later confirmed the fraudulent activity.

Before she even contacted her accountant, he called her first, saying he noticed unusual activity as he also receives transaction alerts. The card was immediately canceled and the stores were informed.

Addressing the suspects directly, Cardi B said: “I have clear pictures of you trying to withdraw money from ATMs, clear footage from Saks and Apple. You’re going to jail, and I will make you pay me back.”

She also provided detailed descriptions of the alleged perpetrators, noting that her security team advised her not to post their images online to avoid interfering with legal investigations. Throughout the live video, her anger escalated, repeatedly threatening those who caused her a loss of more than $60,000.
