The funeral is scheduled to take place after the noon prayer on Wednesday at the Family Mosque in Nazlet Aliyan, in Al-Saff village in Giza Governorate, while condolences will be received on Thursday at Al-Hafez Hall in Al-Basateen area in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Hani Al-Saghir is considered one of the most prominent lyricists in Egypt, known for his rich artistic journey that spanned many years, during which he left a clear mark on the Arab music scene.

In recent months, the late artist underwent a treatment journey for kidney disease, as he regularly received dialysis sessions, before the artistic community was shocked by news of his passing.

Hani Al-Saghir contributed more than 400 songs throughout his career, collaborating with many of the biggest Arab music stars, including Warda, George Wassouf, Amr Diab, Saber El Rebai, Ragheb Alama, and Hussain Al Jasmi.

Among his most famous works are: “The Most Beautiful Women in the World,” “I Missed You,” “After the Nights,” “Enough Talk,” “I Have Forgiven,” “You Resemble Me,” “These Days Are Very Hard,” and “What Am I Afraid Of,” works that still remain present in the Arab audience’s memory to this day.
