The accused stated that the incident “was not intentional.”“The motorcycle used was unlicensed.”

The relevant authorities have concluded the investigation into the incident in which Egyptian actor Nabiel Nour El-Din was injured, after identifying and apprehending the person responsible, bringing an end to the state of controversy and concern that had spread across artistic circles in recent days.

During the investigation, the accused clarified that what happened was unintentional, noting that he was riding his motorcycle near one of the metro stations when he was suddenly surprised by the actor crossing the road, which prevented him from stopping in time and led to the accident.

He added that he attempted to transport the injured person to the hospital after the collision, but this did not exempt him from legal accountability, especially after it was confirmed that the motorcycle he was using was unlicensed.

Detention of the accused

Following that, the Public Prosecution decided to take legal measures against the accused, including detaining him pending investigations and seizing the motorcycle, in addition to assigning the competent authorities to conduct extensive inquiries to uncover all the details of the incident.

On the other hand, the actor reassured his fans about his health condition, confirming that he is in stable condition and receiving the necessary medical care, despite remaining in the hospital to complete his treatment.

He also indicated that the medical team decided to postpone a surgical procedure that had been scheduled earlier, due to some health considerations related to test results, in order to ensure full readiness before undergoing any medical intervention.

In a related context, the actor expressed his great appreciation for the support he received, praising the visit of the head of the Actors’ Syndicate, Ashraf Zaki, and confirming that this moral support had a clear positive impact on boosting his morale during his recovery period.
