Grief settled over the village of Kafr Sherif in the district of Sherbin in Dakahlia Governorate, as an ordinary day turned into a painful farewell moment following the funeral of three young men whose long-standing friendship ended suddenly on the international Gamasa road in a tragic accident that gave them no chance to survive.

From the early hours, the village received the news of the loss in stunned silence, before crowds of residents and neighboring villages gathered to bid them their final farewell.
