Yara El-Sekry: The Artistic Harmony Between Us Is Purely Professional Yara El-Sekry: "We’re already married in Ali Clay"

After days of rumors about the nature of the relationship between young Egyptian actress Yara El-Sekry and her colleague Ahmed El-Awady, Yara decided to put an end to all speculations.

Yara denied all the circulated rumors, emphasizing that her relationship with El-Awady is purely professional and not romantic, noting that their artistic harmony in front of the camera could be the main reason behind the spread of these rumors.

The Egyptian actress explained that she shares a strong professional bond with El-Awady, jokingly saying: "We’re already married in Ali Clay," referring to their current joint drama project.

Audience Impression Yara suggested that the success of their Ramadan series, "Fahd Al-Batal" and "Ali Clay," contributed to forming the audience’s impression of a special relationship between them, despite the fact that it is strictly professional.

El-Sekry also addressed her photo in a wedding dress alongside El-Awady, shared on Instagram, clarifying that wearing the white dress was a personal experience she wanted to document for the first time, and it does not indicate any romantic relationship with the actor.

It is worth mentioning that the series "Ali Clay" features a star-studded cast including Ahmed El-Awady, Dorra Zarrouk, Yara El-Sekry, Essam El-Saqa, Tarek El-Desouki, Rahma Mohsen, and Entesar. The series is written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam, following a previous collaboration between El-Sekry and El-Awady in "Fahd Al-Batal" during Ramadan 2025.
