Collision of two vehicles carrying school students in Sharqia Child dies and two siblings critically injured

A tragic traffic accident occurred on Thursday morning in the city of 10th of Ramadan, Sharqia, after a delivery truck collided with another vehicle carrying several students of a private school, resulting in the death of one child and injuries to 11 people with varying degrees of trauma.

Security authorities in Sharqia reported that 11 injured individuals were admitted to Belbeis and 10th of Ramadan University hospitals, suffering from fractures, bruises, and abrasions on different parts of their bodies.

Accident Details

Investigations revealed that the accident took place on the Belbeis – 10th of Ramadan road, in front of a factory, when a "minibus" carrying students collided with a delivery truck. The injured were transported to hospitals for medical care, and an official report was filed while the Public Prosecution was notified to start investigations.

Child Dies, Two Siblings Critical

According to an official statement from Sharqia Governorate, the 6-year-old child died from a skull base fracture, while 11 other students suffered various injuries, including two in critical condition: an 11-year-old boy with a fracture in his right thigh, and his 8-year-old sister with head injuries.
